The Science Behind the BioActivate Complex

The BioActivate Complex is the foundation of every Clean Slate formula. A proprietary blend of biotech-derived actives and proven botanicals — selected for their demonstrated ability to support follicle function, scalp health, and hair strand integrity. Each ingredient chosen with intent. Each formula designed so consistent use compounds into meaningful, lasting results.

Why hair ages?

Hair doesn't just fall. It fails — at two levels simultaneously.

Most of the hair care industry is built around a single problem: shedding. Treat the loss, reverse the thinning, block the DHT. But hair aging is not one problem. It is two — and they compound each other.

The first failure

happens inside the follicle. As the dermal papilla — the follicle's living engine — loses its ability to generate growth signals, the hair cycle shortens and eventually stalls. Hair that should be growing, isn't. This is not cosmetic decline. It is biological.

The second failure

happens in the strand itself. The structural proteins that give hair its diameter, its strength, and its resistance to damage — disulfide bonds, collagen anchors, cortical integrity — begin to degrade. Hair that is growing becomes thinner, weaker, and shorter-lived with every cycle.

The biology is measurable.

The more the dermal papilla weakens, the faster hair aging accelerates.

Clinical data shows that dermal papilla cell activity — the primary driver of hair cycle progression — declines measurably with age and environmental stress. As this signalling diminishes, the anagen (growth) phase shortens, the telogen (resting) phase dominates, and the ratio of active to dormant follicles shifts unfavourably.

Conventional hair products treat what is visible at the surface. The CS+ Complex intervenes at the signal level — where hair aging is determined, not yet expressed.

Two ingredients. One complex. Every level of hair aging addressed.

Capilia Longa™ reactivates the follicle — restoring the dermal papilla's ability to generate the growth signals that produce dense, vital hair. Elaya Renova™ rebuilds what grows — strengthening the scalp's structural anchoring proteins, thickening the strand from the cortex, and protecting the hair system from environmental and mechanical damage.

The 150-Day Study

This is what hair longevity looks like in data.

Every claim we make traces back to a single question: what does the evidence actually show? Over 150 days, in a double-blind clinical trial across 40 volunteers — men and women, across multiple alopecia types — the CS+ Complex delivered results that are visible, measurable, and unprecedented.

The change begins where you can't see it.

Before results appear at the surface, they happen at the bulb. In histological analysis taken before and after treatment, follicles treated with Capilia Longa™ showed three distinct structural improvements: an enlarged germinative matrix — the actively dividing cell population responsible for hair growth — more fully developed inner and outer root sheaths, and a broader, more robust bulb overall.

This is what follicle reactivation looks like under a microscope. Not thinning reversed cosmetically. Biology restored structurally.

Quantified. Controlled. Unambiguous.

At 45, 90, and 150 days, participants were assessed across three primary metrics. The trajectory was consistent across all of them: improvement that accelerated over time rather than plateauing — the hallmark of a biological intervention working with the follicle's own cycle rather than suppressing it.

Up to 13,500 new hairs. 150 days.

These are not retouched. These are not cherry-picked outliers. The before-and-after images below are drawn from clinical volunteers assessed under controlled conditions at Day 0 and Day 150 — representing the real, documented output of the CS+ Complex working at the follicle over five months.

The results speak without qualification.

Capilia Longa™Phyto-Peptidic Fractions™ from Curcuma longa totipotent stem cells

Origin & Mechanism:
Capilia Longa™ is extracted from the totipotent stem cells of Curcuma longa — turmeric — using a proprietary Plant Cell Biofactory process. What is isolated is not curcumin. It is the concentrated secretome of those cells: Phyto-Peptidic Fractions™ — the first generation of genuine plant signalling peptides ever applied in cosmetic science.

These peptides act directly on the Dermal Papilla — the follicle's command centre — reactivating its ability to generate growth factors and reset the hair cycle. In vitro, Capilia Longa™ reaches a 177% dermal papilla cell proliferation index, outperforming Minoxidil (169%) and every major growth factor tested. It stimulates miRNA-31 by 6.3× while reducing hair-loss-associated miRNA-22 by 40%.

Elaya Renova™Proteolipidic matrix from Olea europaea var. sylvestris stem cells

Origin & Mechanism:
Elaya Renova™ is derived from the stem cells of the wild olive tree — Olea europaea var. sylvestris — one of the most resilient plant species on earth. It operates on the principle of Hair Tensegrity: the scalp, follicle, and hair shaft are not independent structures. They are a unified system. When any part is compromised, the whole is affected.

Elaya Renova™ penetrates to the hair cortex to rebuild structure from the inside out — increasing the gene expression of key scalp anchoring proteins, restoring disulfide bonds, and replenishing the scalp's hydrolipidic barrier. It does not coat the hair. It restructures it.
