The Science Behind The BioActivate Formula

In a 150-day clinical study, Capilia Longa™ — a powerful natural extract — was tested for its ability to restore hair growth and prevent further loss. Researchers focused on whether daily application could not only reduce shedding but also stimulate new follicle activity.

The results were clear: Capilia Longa™ helped extend the hair’s growth phase, delay the shedding phase, and reawaken dormant follicles — triggering visible new growth in many users. The study found an average of:

What is your hair's life cycle?

Hair grows in a natural cycle made up of three key phases: anagen (growth), catagen (transition), and telogen (rest).

Hair Life Cycle

Anagen-phase.png

This phase is defined by significant hair growth due to increased growth activity and hair cell division in the hair follicles. During the Anagen phase, the hair follicle is connected to the scalp's blood supply, which provides essential nutrients and energy for hair growth. Throughout hair cycling for a healthy head of hair, 90% of all follicles are in the Anagen phase and can remain there for anywhere from 2 to 8 years.

How Do We Measure the Hair Growth Cycle?

Hair growth is measured using tools like the Trichogram, which assesses the Anagen/Telogen (A/T) ratio — the balance between growing and resting hairs. A healthy ratio is 4:1 or higher.

Lower ratios signal increased shedding. Hormones, stress, nutrition, and genetics all affect this cycle, but the anagen phase can be supported to reduce loss and improve hair density.

Our Approach

How We Promote Hair Growth & Combat Hair Loss

The good news is that in the early stages of hair loss, dormant hair follicles can still be activated to create new hair growth.

Our CS+ Complex was developed for those dealing with early-stage hair loss or people looking to maintain a healthy hair growth cycle by activating those follicles and improve your hair growth cycle - increasing the number of hairs in the Anagen (Growth) Phase, and decreasing the number of hairs in the Exogen (Shedding) Phase.

It contains two cutting-edge natural active ingredients, Capilia Longa™ and Elaya Renova™, which have been clinically proven to promote healthy hair growth by improving and prolonging the Anagen (Growth) Phase.

Award Winning Ingredients

Capilia.png

Capilia Longa™

Capilia Longa™contains phyto-peptidic fractions that reactivate hair growth activity in dormant & active hair follicles by resetting the hair bulk and re-starting the activity of dermal papilla cells.

Elaya.png

Elaya Renova™

Elaya Renova™prolongs the Anagen (Growth) Phase by increasing hair diameter and strenghtening the hair shaft's anchoring to the hair follicle.

The 3 Methods Of The Study

TRICHOGRAM®

A trichogram provides a snapshot of the hair root’s condition at a specific moment.

It helps determine if a treatment supports hair growth by increasing the active growth phase (anagen) and delaying the resting phase (telogen).

TRICHOSCAN®

TrichoScan® calculates hair density by measuring the number of hairs within 0.25 cm² of scalp.

Images were captured at Day 0, Day 90, and Day 150 to assess changes in hair count over time.

PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE

Top-down photos were taken on Day 0, Day 90, and Day 150 to visually document and compare improvements in hair coverage.

Activation and Repair of the Hair Bulb

Trichogram analysis compared hair bulb images at Day 1 and Day 150. The results showed a clear increase in anagen (growth) phase and a reduction in telogen (resting) phase.

Subjects in Group 1 (treated with active ingredients) displayed visibly thicker hair bulbs by Day 150, indicating improved hair matrix density and regeneration.

Before Treatment – Telogen Phase

During the telogen (resting) phase, hair strands appear thinner and end in a “paintbrush”-like tip. This shape indicates the hair is no longer securely anchored to the bulb, leading to increased shedding.

After 150 Days of Treatment

Following 150 days of treatment, results showed an increase in hair mass — suggesting stronger anchoring of the hair shaft to the bulb and improved follicle stability.

Hair Growth Results

More Hairs in the Growth Phase

Anagen Phase Increase:

Participants in Group 1 (treated with active ingredients) showed a clear increase in the number of hairs in the anagen phase, while Group 2 (placebo) experienced a decline. This demonstrates the treatment’s ability to stimulate new hair growth and extend the growth phase — leading to longer-lasting, healthier hair.

Reduction in Telogen Phase

In Group 1 (treated with active ingredients), the study showed a decrease in the telogen (resting) phase and a corresponding increase in the anagen (growth) phase between Day 1 and Day 150. This suggests the treatment not only stimulated new hair growth but also extended the growth cycle, contributing to fuller, thicker hair over time.

Conversely, Group 2 (placebo) experienced a decline in the anagen phase and a rise in the telogen phase, indicating a deterioration in hair growth throughout the study period.

A/T Ratio Results: Treatment vs. Placebo

Over 150 days, the treatment group showed a 27% increase in the Anagen/Telogen (A/T) ratio, indicating more hairs in the active growth phase and fewer in the resting phase. In contrast, the placebo group experienced a 17% decrease in the A/T ratio — reflecting a shift toward increased hair loss. This confirms the treatment’s effectiveness in promoting healthier, longer-lasting hair growth cycles.
